Why i can't wait to document your day
Every so often, i get really baffled that I live in a time that we can capture a memory visually & look back on it whenever we want. It's become such a daily thing that we take it for granted.
That being said, how many times do we pull up a photo that was either a misfire or an iphone pic gone wrong & say, "it was prettier in person" or "this is a terrible photo, but..." - too often those pictures are associated with core memories. While I will always support taking a quick photo & living in the moment instead of ruining it by retaking the same photo 1000x, I desire to document your happiest memories artistically, thoughtfully & with intention. I work quickly, but i do not rush. My utmost goal is not only to protect the day you've set aside for your wedding & allow you to actually experience it, but to capture your ceremony in a way that you are excited to relive your wedding day for years & years to come. Digital + film are my mediums of choice, allowing me to both work efficiently but effectively. Artistic, playful, honest, nostalgic.

yOUR BEST DAY EVER
While you're rehearsing & celebrating the last night before your wedding, I will be prepping all the things on my end! Gear charged, bags (snacks) packed, lock screen timelines sent out etc., brb just as stoked for your best day as you are!
I’ll arrive bright and early to settle in quickly and say hi to everyone before I start shooting. I want to make sure that everyone (especially you) is 100% comfortable and pumped for the day ahead
Throughout your day, I’ll be weaving in and out to make sure I catch every precious moment, including moments that went unseen. That quick kiss at the dinner table or tucking that loose strand of hair behind your ear. You ripping your dress during your epic first dance (true story) - I've got my eyes open for all of it.
I’ll be the chameleon you want me to be – whether you want me to be the ringmaster herding everyone up for a shot, or to sneak around in the background, capturing all the natural, candid moments. There will be no room for uncomfortable, stiff photos if I have anything to do with it! Give me candids or give me death

my approach to creating images you'll treasure forever

All the pictures you're seeing here are the product of 5 years of refinement through the fire. As you can imagine, my work has been weathered through many a photo trend & way-too-orange color filter... you just don't know what you don't know when you're first getting started! I can finally say that my work now is a true representation of what i've wanted my photos to look like all along... i'm so grateful. Here's to documenting the little things & not concerning ourselves with what tiktok tells us we should do or care about. Timeless, artistic & honest - just like your grandpa's film camera. That's what i'm all about.
With all of that in mind, I do not change my style for clients. I say that with all of the love in my heart! There is just no way for either of us to be happy with the end product if I attempt to edit/shoot like another photographer. Does that mean you can't send me pinterest inspo? absolutely not! Please show me allll the pictures you're inspired by. That part actually helps me get a feel for the vibe you're going for. I will happily take your inspiration & give it a good ole Sophie Axie Mae spin! So yes, please keep the inspiration coming haha.

Fine art albums are available to add on to any of my packages. Nothing quite displays your wedding photos like a layflat photo album that can be displayed in your house <3 because what else are your pictures for but to be enjoyed? heads & tales better than stored away on your computer.
After your full wedding gallery has been delivered via online gallery, I will get to work designing your album, We will work together to make sure that your favorite images are included, alongside whatever photos I feel best compliment your choices + take you back to the feeling of your wedding day.
